In implantation or expansion projects, the large volume and complexity of engineering data and their interfaces, along with the need to ensure the efficient traceability and availability of all information involved, requires the use of effective, powerful and sophisticated commissioning management software.
It is for this reason that PCM Comissionamento and collaborators have, since 2008, been finetuning the PCMsys, commissioning management software that was entirely structured to serve the MC&C commissioning management model.
PCMsys organizes and controls the whole assembly and construction delivery process, which results in a smooth, secure transition, with quality and transparency for the client’s operation.
The software, which is multilingual, is designed to work in international markets and offers a diversity of resources, and is now exclusively enhanced for PCM Comissionamento to excel in a clear, intuitive manner and control all our clients’ industrial enterprise commissioning stage activities.
Mobile technology is also integrated with the PCMsys to carry out Service Orders, which contain the associated protocol procedures. The completion of the protocols is done via cellphone in the Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms. In the absence of a mobile network, synchronization with the PCMsys servers takes place as soon as the equipment connects to a network, through wifi or 4G.
OBJECTIVE
The PCMsys software was developed to fulfil these main objectives:
Plan the enterprise’s Mechanical Completion and Commissioning– MC&C activities;
Generate data through reports, graphs and protocols for the performance of MC&C enterprise activities;
Manage the list of pending matters identified and follow up on the correction of defects and flaws;
Monitor the progress of MC&C activities;
Provide unlimited online user access to the system to facilitate the programming and execution of field works, based on the handover data and priorities.
SOME MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE PCMsys MODULES
After logging in, the user is directed to the software’s visual control panel, with the most important and necessary information on the status of projects previously registered in the system. The user may be registered in more than one project as per the project characteristics and client preference.
The module allows for the registration of technical data from tagged and untagged items, demarcation of packages and engineering documents, as well as the association with acquisition control of project tagged items, in relation to planned commissioning needs.
The module allows for the management and control of project quality control activities.
The module allows for the preparation of work scope for mechanical completion, pre-commissioing and commissioning, associated to applied protocols, based on specific project characteristics, procedures, staff, priorities, pending matters and timetable dates.
The module allows for monitoring and ensures the traceability of user information, data import, registration of incidents, notifications etc.
The module allows for the registration of the methodology and specific characteristics of the client project, pending matters category, priorities, phases and protocols.
The module allows for the preparation of the commissioning timetable and the management and control of service orders from the quality control, preservation and commissioning stage activities.
The module allows for the management and control of activities and routines in the preservation of project accessories and equipment.<br />
The module allows for the monitoring of the field work of those carrying out activities in the project phases.
The module allows for the monitoring of work stage status through detailed graphs and tables, generating reports on productivity, compliance with the plan and trends.
